“Practice, and all is coming.”
This well-known phrase by yoga teacher Sri K. Pattabhi Jois reminds us of the power of consistent, dedicated practice. It’s through showing up regularly that we grow, deepen our self-understanding, and experience transformation through yoga.
As we wrap up our Yoga Basics Series after 10 weeks, let’s take a moment to reflect on what we’ve explored:
- The Ancient Roots and Modern Evolution of Yoga
- The Breath – Pranayama Techniques
- Standing Poses
- Sun Salutation – A Powerful Start
- Twists – Awaken, Balance, Renew
- Core – The Center of Your Body
- Backbends – Strengthen Your Spine, Uplift Your Energy and Heart
- The Calming Power of Forward Bends
- The Power of Inversion Asanas
- The Timeless Wisdom of Yoga Philosophy

Throughout this journey, we’ve seen how mastering asana alignment allows you to care for yourself, cultivating balance, peace, and well-being.
So yes—practice is the key!
Yoga is a lifelong journey, and your practice is a steady, supportive companion along the way. Even as a yoga teacher, I remain a student—continuing to learn, grow, and stay open.
Remember, your yoga journey is unique—just like you.
There’s no one-size-fits-all path. Some are drawn to the physical challenge of asana, others to the stillness of meditation or the insight of self-inquiry.
Follow what feels right. Your journey will take shape in its own time..

May your practice be filled with dedication, compassion, and the joy of discovering the boundless depths of your being.
Thank you for joining me on this Yoga Basics journey.
May you find joy and fulfillment.
