Autumn is the season of transition, shifting from summer’s outward energy to a more introspective, calming phase. It brings change, cooler temperatures, and a gentle invitation to slow down. The red-gold beauty of the leaves invites you to release and gather, preparing for the stillness of winter.
For our yoga practice, autumn invites us to Integrate grounding poses and slower sequences, aligning with the season’s call for self-reflection.
With standing asanas like Mountain Pose or Warrior Pose, we cultivate stability and a deep connection with Mother Earth.
But as cooler temperatures arrive, we also have to keep our inner fire alive. Integrate Sun Salutations and twists to help stimulate circulation and build heat.
In general, autumn invites us to slow down and reflect, aligning with nature’s cycle, making it a perfect time for relaxation and introspection. Practicing yoga in alignment with the season of Autumn brings you deeper harmony with nature and prepares your body and mind for winter.
I am looking forward to practice Yoga together!
