is a call to slow down and our motto for this week.
This simple phrase holds a deep meaning—it’s a reminder to take the time to settle into each pose, to truly feel and be present in both:
- What you do and
- How you do it.
Yoga is not just about physical movements, it’s about being fully engaged in the moment, allowing yourself to connect with the body, mind, and breath. “Let’s Arrive” is a call to slow down, be present, and experience every aspect of your practice.
Incorporating the principle of “Sthiram Sukham Asanam” is a great way to deepen this connection. This principle, often shared in yoga teachings, is about finding the perfect balance between stability and comfort in every pose.
- “Sthira” means stability and strength. It’s about grounding yourself, being firm, and staying rooted in each posture.
- “Sukha” means comfort and ease. It’s about relaxing into the pose, allowing flexibility, and breathing with ease.
Together, Sthira and Sukha represent the balance between effort and ease, strength and flexibility, which is essential in every yoga pose. It’s not just about pushing through; it’s about finding that sweet spot where you feel grounded, yet relaxed.
This week, let’s take the time to arrive in every pose, honoring the balance that yoga teaches us.
I’m looking forward to welcoming you to the yoga mat.
See you there!
